With FKP, Alan directed the programming and planning team for a large renovation and 28,000 sf expansion project for this heart hospital, which was driven by the need to consolidate all ICU beds into one larger 24 bed unit on the ground floor. This team oversaw renovation design team which involved renovating vacated ICU beds on one floor, 8,000 sf, a phased replacement of 8,000 sf of prep/recovery beds and building out a shell floor of 16,000 sq. ft. for cardiac observation beds and miscellaneous support space.
