Alan and FKP were asked by the hospital leadership committee to re-evaluate the planning and design of the 2010, 600,000 sq. ft. New Inpatient Tower, which resulted in being selected to lead the team on the re-plan of the hospital after the original design architect left the project. Alan’s team facilitated the planning of the Impatient Tower which was a full replacement of ED, Surgery, Imaging, Heart Center, ICU and Med Surg beds.
